Fitness industry in India has experienced a serious boom like tech startups. With changing lifestyles and ecosystem the millennial understands the importance of health & proper nutrition. Competing in a rapidly growing industry has always been a challenge for any brand and, in an attempt to do so a brand must give serious thought to on its persona and perceived value. BodyGears – a brand by Pranach Health care entered the market in 2009. Been in the game for over half a decade the brand had its persona and to evolve a step further they needed a change. Assignment was giving BodyGears a new look. From logo to product packaging and, the website design too. Our objective was getting the fitness enthusiasts to connect with the brand. The 21st Century generation considers healthy lifestyle as a tool to a successful life ahead and, positioning the brand image in a way that can appeal them.
A brand is never ever built only by the colors used in the logo or the way it looks. For the aesthetics to appeal, a brand must have a strong commitment in term of fulfilling the requirements a consumer seeks. The brand has different product offerings with respective advantages, from weight loss and weight gain for fitness enthusiasts who love to flaunt their physique to people looking for an external or supplementary energy source to meet the required energy deficit. We planned on going with a different color for each product while keeping the design style uniform to keep the visual appeal monotonous. As a lifestyle fitness product brand, the digital visual appeal had to be very simple yet appealing to the TG. The brand name, logo and the tagline had to be presented via a symbolic visual and that’s what the creative processed final churned out. The entire appeal is based around the idea that with right tools and gears anything can be engineered perfectly.
The new look has helped the brand capture new customers. The brand reach has increased by 7% month on month and, so have the conversions. The packaging design has created a great deal of visual appeal capturing customer's attention spot on.
The designs and look has created a brand recall for every existing and prospective customer. Over the time, the brand has earned a set of loyal customers who can connect to the brand for not only delivering the promised value(which should be a non-negotiable for any product/service) but also being a part of their lifestyle and personality.
